We love collaborating with individuals, groups, businesses, and other community organizations! We see the possibility and ability to work with others as a fantastic way to increase the amount of productivity we can create; which in turn increases the effect of positive change that can occur, as well as amplifying the excitement, enjoyment, and entertainment we experience together.

Shed Sale #3
(August 19, 2012) Come join The Collective Exp (Facebook event page) for our 3rd Shed Sale !
The event will take place 8/19/12, from 8am - 4pm, at Eastside Neighborhood Park (E. Yanonali & Soledad) in Santa Barbara. We will be providing entertainment in the standard Collective Exp fashion - music, dance, and good vibes. We will also be hosting refreshments and some foods (looking for additional local food donations) - with local, organic fruits & veggies in mind, as well as hotdogs & chicken.
We've had greater community participation each time we hold these Shed Sales, and our fee-free healing offered through HealingSon has been receiving more attention.

Shed Sale #2
(June 16, 2012) Come join The Collective Exp (Facebook event page) in an event being creating for several purposes: 1) to shed material items we no longer deem necessary or rarely/never use, 2) to share with our community, and 3) to create a model for sharing, interacting, and participating within our community.
The event will take place 6/16/12, from 10am - 2pm, at Eastside Neighborhood Park (E.
This Shed Sale - we'd like to think of as an alternative to "Garage" Sales - is primarily about shedding stale material possessions, as well as the stagnant energy associated with them. When we continue to collect material things, our energy binds with them - positive and negatively - and our energy flow is often decreased or hampered because of this action. When excess items begin to build and clutter or multiple storage spaces are needed to house items rarely used or mostly forgotten about, in-accessible, or otherwise neglected, then these items are a burden as well as a blockage to the natural flow.

Lizards Mouth Cleanup
(March 4, 2012) The Collective exp has joined forces with Evershade & the Forestry Service to organize a Lizards Mouth Cleanup! The Forestry Service will be providing a firetruck & water tender to feed the pressure washers, donated for the day by Evershade. The Collective will be holding it down, with DJs and live music, supplying high energy music to keep work flow and our bodies moving. Free bodywork for volunteers. Plus refreshments & water. What a fantastic turn out. Thank you so much, community, for coming to share and clean this lovely natural habitat. Thanks to Larry Griffith from the Forestry Service, Rob from Evershade, and Joel Brown, along with everyone in the Collective and all those that came from our community. 1 Love!

MLK Day Program & March
(1/16/2012) The Collective Exp participated in the Santa Barbara MLK Day Program and March in stage production, as March Directors, and in the cleanup process. The Collective showed their support for Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream, by taking part in remembrance festivities that honored his life. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an advocate for peace, prosperity, and civil liberties for all of humanity.

(9/17/2011) AMASS’s acronym defines our idea of Artists Making a Street Scene.
AMASS Gallery is a community art gathering celebrating different styles of art and performances. We are making a change in the way art is exposed to the public. Our goal is to “amass” in harmony with the cityscape; allowing the public a chance to experience artists in the creative process, and giving artists a public canvas to express their talent.
On September 17th, we plan to bring together live paintings, theater performances, live bands and deejays, art installations and photography with a mix of delicious fare and an area for beer and wine. All in The Funk Zone of Mason Street between State and Annacapa.
Last year’s event went off without a hitch and this year we have art groups and collaborators coming together to make it bigger and better. This event will mark our 2nd Anniversary, and we plan to continue it as long as the need for artists and community to AMASS continues.

Hands Across California
(4/17/2011) We participated, support, and donated to the Hands-Across-California event, locally held at the Santa Barbara City College and on Sola Street near Kid’s World Park where Earth Day was being hosted. We showed our support at the City College where a smaller group had gathered to increase awareness at the school, along side the Dean and other Administration, students, and locals. This was a state effort to raise funds for education on the Community College level.

Milpas Area Cleanup
(4/9/2011) We participated in the Milpas Area Cleanup, organized by the Milpas Community Association. We loved the energy and organization - they brought our same philosophy of Work with Fun; they had live music, raffles, fun games for kids to play, and made it a FUN, family event for the community to take part in. We cleaned up roadways, parks, stream beds, and covered graffiti on any grey City surfaces. It was a great success! Thanks MCA for a great example for the rest of us to participate in, and follow the example of.
